Again this year, Friends of Peanut Park donated almost enough to cover all operating costs for park maintenance.

As a result, we used only half of the income earned by the Winnipeg Foundation’s Friends of Peanut Park Fund to cover expenses this year, allowing the remainder of the income to be reinvested to build the fund’s capital.

The Winnipeg Foundation’s Friends of Peanut Park Fund stood at $246,366 at the end of our fiscal year as a result of a combination of donations, reinvestment, and growth of capital. The income of this fund is designated to pay for the maintenance of the park in the long run.
